These letters make the story.

Try to pronounce it: “OHPF”. Doesn’t quite roll off the tongue, does it? That’s okay: sometimes the journey is far more worth it!

See, I was raised in the 1980s Arizona suburbs of Phoenix, and my parents were keen on having my sister and I know things before we entered kindergarten. You know, numbers, words, social concepts, and basic letters. Fisher-Price made some really great magnetic letters (I think they still do, but this is the 1980s we’re talking about here). I was gifted the whole set having turned three years old. For some reason, my favorite two letters were the orange “H” and the purple “F”. These were the magnetized letters, which are great fun and you could slap them up on any numbers of surfaces in our suburban home. I guess when your brain develops, your forming personality will grab onto certain things whether with intention or not. So, since I’m three years young, it’s been the orange “H” and the purple “F”.

Perhaps through the hardest of methods, shepherding projects from a showertime synapse crackle all the way to holding the finished result in your hand is categorically one of the hardest things to do in this world. I’m not usually a glutton for punishment, however it’s there’s arctic air on the horizon, you’re likely best to get a few layers on in anticipation. OHPFstory is a shingle on a roof, a warm coat to wear, an sturdy umbrella in a rainstorm.

The tenets of who we are at OHPFstory.

Since launching OHPFstory, some very difficult work has been done. I’m here running OHPFstory to share well-drawn characters from unique perspectives while doing so in books and other media that is exclusive to this company. We stand for stories told with excellence, hopefully while punching up at those who could afford to be taken down a notch.

OHPFstory also serves as the means so I can sleep at night. On productive days, my goal has been to produce 900-1,200 words of meaningful story, at least four times a week. Now, this doesn’t happen much of the time. If even a hundred words can be salvaged from the day’s effort, I’ll take that. I’ll run with that. I’ll be able to lay my head on my pillow and at least be grateful that sleep is a possibility that night.

The growth in our storytelling.

We’re a publishing and production company that has primarily focused on storytelling, now with five titles available across the world. So far, there’s something for everyone, with our books offering everything from the action-thriller genre to crushing satire. Talking about stories is one thing on a website is hardly going make the intended impact, so you’re honestly best to pick them up and see for yourself. Sure, it’s been the weirdest time ever, so there’s not a lot of sense in waiting around marking time. Besides, it feels TERRIFIC holding a fresh book in your hand!!

Each OHPFstory title is readily available in trade paperback and e-book formats. Along with this, you might be an appetite for a different format, and that’s something we can customize for you as well: big print, translated from English to the language of your choice, myriad file types, you name it.
